Sollten mal Probleme mit einem VentaFax Paket auftreten überprüfen Sie, dass ob Sie die neueste Version des Programms haben. In den neueren Versionen sind die aufgetretenen Fehler höchstwahrscheinlich korrigiert.

8. September 2011: VentaFax 6.8.158.398 wurde veröffentlicht In allen neuen Versionen: 1. Schnellsuche im Protokoll, Nachschlagebuch und Plan hinzugefügt. 2. Schlüssel /grX:<Phrasenname> hinzugefügt. Dabei ist X - der Anruftyp (1, 2, 3 oder 4). Dadurch kann man die Begrüßungsphrasen für unterschiedliche Anruftypen ändern. 3. Der Fehler mit der Wahl von Portnummern größer als 32 behoben. In Business-Versionen: 1. Jetzt kann PDF nicht nur für eingehende, sondern auch für ausgehende Faxnachrichten auswählen (diese Möglichkeit ist bei der Benutzung der Titelseite ausgestellt). In Mehrlinien-Versionen: 1. Die Fenstergröße der Hauptanwendung für die Anzeige einer Leitung und aller Leitungen wird jetzt separat gespeichert. Einige kleinere Fehler behoben. 26. In allen neuen Versionen: 1. Im Kontextmenü vom "Baum" des Nachrichtenmanagers ist der Punkt "Auf dem Datenträger finden" erschienen, dadurch wird das Suchfenster mit der ausgewählten Datei angezeigt. 2. Beim Zeitplan ist jetzt die Möglichkeit des Statusexportes neben dem Auswahlexport eingeführt. 3. Beim Zeitplan wurde die Suche innerhalb eines Datumsintevalls eingeführt. 4. Bei der Erstellung des Versandplans ist es jetzt möglich, die aus dem Adressenbuch stammenden Adressen von der Versandliste zu entfernen. 5. Das Aufteilen oder Zusammenfügen von mehreren erkannten Seiten führte manchmal zu Fehlern. Diese Fehler wurden behoben. 6. Bei einem wiederholten Versand der Faxnachricht mit einer Titelseite konnte die Information aus dem Feld "Anmerkung" verschwinden. Jetzt behoben. 7. Während der Installation ist jetzt die Angabe für die Erstellung der Verknüpfungen für alle Benutzer (wie früher) und auch nur für den aktuellen Benutzer möglich. 14. Dezember 2010: VentaFax 6.6.127.328 wurde veröffentlicht Es wurden neue Funktionen hinzugefügt. In allen neuen Versionen: 1. "Handlungen nach der Übergabe" wurden eingeführt. Jetzt kann man nach einer abgeschlossenen Sitzung eine E-Mail-Benachrichtigung verschicken, die versendete Faxnachricht ausdrucken oder eine weitere Anwendung starten. 2. Im Planer ist ein neues Parameter eingeführt worden: "Aufgaben, die mit dem Unterbrechungsfehler (20) beendet wurden, gelten als erfüllt". Durch Auswahl dieser Option gelangen solche Aufgaben in die Auswahl "Erledigt" statt "Fehlerhaft beendet" und werden mit einem gelben Zeichen markiert. 3. Der Übergang in den StandBy-Zustand und in den Ruhezustand ist jetzt unterbunden, wenn die Benachrichtigung einschaltet ist und noch nicht erfüllte Aufgaben eingeplant sind. 4. In Sktipten für die Fernsteuerung wurde die maximale Anzahl der Handlungen im Team von 64 auf 256 erhöht. Gefundene Fehler und Mängel wurden behoben. In Mehrlinien-Versionen: 1. Man kann jetzt die Weiterleitungsregeln für ausgehende Anrufe unter den Linien je nach der Telefonnummer festlegen. So kann man für jede Aufgabe, die eingeplant ist, automatisch Linien definieren, die für Anrufe freigestellt sind. So kann man z.B. für lokale Anrufe Linie 1 und für internationale Anrufe Linie 2 festlegen. 2. September 2010: VentaFax 6.5.122.318 wurde veröffentlicht Neue Funktionen: 1. Aus dem Zeitplan kann man jetzt die Suchergebnisse exportieren. 2. Der Schlüssel /wa:<time> hinzugefügt - er zeigt auf die Notwendigkeit, eine Antwort aufzuspielen, und gibt die maximale Länge in Sekunden an. Fehler behoben: 1. Wenn es auf den VentaFax-Drucker bei der gestarteten Hauptapplikation gedruckt wurde, so wurde das Übertragugsfenster nicht im Vordergrund angezeigt, sondern hinter dem Fenster des Hauptprogramms. Einige andere kleinere Fehler behoben. 4. August 2010: VentaFax 6.5.117.313 wurde veröffentlicht Der eingebaute Mailklient funktioniert wieder mit dem SMTP-Server von Google Mail. Einige Fehler im Nachrichtenmanager wurden behoben. Der Fehler wurde ausgebessert, der bei der Felstlegung der Versandintervalle mit bestimmten Regionaleinstellungen vorkam. 28. Juli 2010: VentaFax 6.5.114.310 wurde veröffentlicht Fehler im Nachrichtenmanager, die manchmal zum Absturz des Managers führten, wenn man in den Bearbeitungsmodus wechselte oder eine Datei speichern wollte, wurden behoben. 20. Automatische Erkennung von Text in empfangenen Faxnachrichten ist nur in Business-Versionen des Programms verfügbar. Manuelle Erkennung ist in allen Programmversionen verfügbar. 2. Möglichkeit, Dokumente in Formaten TXT, RTF, HTML direkt ins Fax-Format zu konvertieren. In Business-Versionen: 1. Automatische Texterkennung in empfangenen Faxnachrichten. 2. Möglichkeit, Schlüsselwörter im erkannten Text für automatische Weiterleitung empfangener Faxnachrichten anzugeben. 3. Paket-Erkennung von Faxtexten. 4. Möglichkeit, Aufgaben aus dem Zeitplaner manuell zu versenden. 5. Neue Suchfunktion im Zeitplaner für die Suche nach Einträgen auf Grund des Namens des Telefonbuchs, mit dem die jeweilige Aufgabe erstellt wurde. 30. April 2010: VentaFax 6.3.102.288 wurde veröffentlicht In der Home-Version: Beim Versuch, das PDF-Format zum Speichern der eingehenden Faxe auszuwählen, erschien ein Warnungsfenster, dass diese Funktion nur in der Business Version verfügbar ist. Im Weiteren wurde dieses Fenster bei jedem Klick im Programmfenster angezeigt. Korrigiert. Für alle Versionen: Der Nachrichten-Manager speichert jetzt die Größe des Texteingabefeldes bei der Bearbeitung einer Fax-Nachricht. Andere festgestellte Fehler behoben. 26. Februar 2010: VentaFax 6.3.93.270 wurde veröffentlicht Dateinamenerweiterungen "docx", "xlsx", "ppt", "pptx" wurden zum Filter "Dokumente" im Dialogfenster "Datei öffnen" hinzugefügt. Fehler behoben, der das Starten des Programms verhinderte, wenn die Bibliothek gdiplus.dll im System nicht installiert war (unter Windows 98, ME, 2000). Beim Angeben von mehr als zwei Dateinamen in der Befehlszeile konnten nicht alle Dateien zur resultierenden Fax-Nachricht hinzugefügt werden. Behoben. Programminstallation lief nicht unter Windows ME. Behoben. Einige entstellte Textvariablen in der deutschen Lokalisierungsdatei korrigiert. Andere festgestellte Fehler behoben. 4. Februar 2010: VentaFax 6.3 wurde veröffentlicht
Neue Funktionen: Für alle Versionen: 1. Das Programmpaket ist durch Sicherungskopie- und Datenwiederherstellungs-Elemente ergänzt. Somit kann man eine Sicherungskopie aller Programmdaten auf einem PC erstellen und sie korrekt auf ein Weiteres übertragen. Die Sicherungskopie kann man auch in dem Fall benutzen, wenn auf dem zweiten PC eine jüngere Version des Programms installiert ist. 2. Für MS Office Dokumente (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) gibt es die Funktion der 'Transparenten' Konvertierung. Ab jetzt kann man ein solches Dokument ins Fax-Format im Hintergrund-Modus konvertieren, ohne das es auf dem Bildschirm eingeblendet wird. 3. Die JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, WMF und EMF Grafikdateien können ab jetzt selbst vom Programm konvertiert werden, ohne weitere Anwendungen heranzuziehen. 4. Neu ist die Möglichkeit die Einstellungen einiger STMP-Server zu speichern und wenn notwendig zwischen den Servern umschalten. Die STMP-Servereinstellungen sind in ein neues Tab "Mailserver - Allegemein" vom Tab "Empfang - Automatisch - Aktion nach Empfang - Mailserver " übertragen. 5. Während der Meldungsübertragung wird nicht nur die gewählte Rufnummer eingeblendet, sondern auch die Infos aus den Feldern "An" und "Betr.". 6. Im Meldungen-Assistenten kann man ab jetzt Seiten mit Hilfe der Schnelltasten blättern (Ctrl+"Pfeil, nach oben", Ctrl+"Pfeil, nach unten"). Die Schnelltasten Ctrl+Home und Ctrl+End blenden entsprechend die erste und die letzte Seiten, die Tastenkombination Ctrl-Shift-S blendet das Dialog "Speichern unter..." ein. 7. Neu ist der Parameter "Verbindung trennen, sobald der DTMF # Befehl entdeckt wird" im Tab "Empfang - Automatisch - DTMF Toneinstellung" (als Standardeinstellung nicht aktiv). Wenn man den Hörer auf einem parallelen Telefonapparat abnimmt und die Taste # drückt, während der Anrufbeantworter funktioniert, wird dieser Signal anerkannt und das Programm legt den Hörer auf. In der Business-Version: 1. Ab jetzt kann man im Menü "Aktion nach Empfang" Regeln deaktivieren. Früher sollte man die Regel löschen, um sie zu deaktivieren. 2. Ab jetzt lassen sich eine oder mehrere Aufgaben im Plan auswählen und alle mit den Telefonnummern übereinstimmende Einträge in den Telefonbüchern mit nur einem Tastendruck aufsuchen. Diese Eigenschaft kann man für das Aufsuchen "toter" Telefonnummern benutzen, um sie danach zu löschen, oder, umgekehrt, zur Suche nach ständig benutzten Rufnummern nutzen, um sie in ein extra Telefonbuch zu übertragen. 3. Ab jetzt kann man mit Hilfe des Schlüssels "/e: " Befehl-Dateien nicht nur im ANSI-Format, sondern auch im UTF-8 erstellen. 4. Beim Programmstart kann man ab jetzt zusammen mit den Parametern einige Dateien angeben. Diese Dateien werden nach Bedarf umgeformt und zu einem Fax oder eine Sprachbox vereint. Außerdem kann man die ergebene Datei mit Hilfe des Schlüssels /saveas:"Dateiname" benennen. 10. Juni 2009: VentaFax 6.2 wurde veröffentlicht Neue Funktionen: Für alle Versionen: 1. Jetzt kann man das Erscheinen der Hauptanwendung verändern. Statt des «Baumes» der Anwendungen kann man auch die Anwendungsleiste mit Tasten benutzen. Man kann auch die großen Tasten mit Überschriften oben in der Hauptleiste benutzen. 2. Es wurde automatische Überprüfung nach Programmaktualisierungen auf der Entwicklerhomepage eingeführt. 3. Es wurde neue Benachrichtigungfunktion eingeführt, die als aufsteigende halb transparente Fenster implementiert wurde. Das Fenster erscheint nach dem Eingang oder Versand der Nachricht. Die Funktion kommt als Plug-In, sie kann auf der Schaltfläche Verschiedenes-Plug-Ins aktiviert werden. 4. Jetzt können Sie beim Vorbereiten des Faxes neue Seiten einscannen und sie einem schon bestehenden Fax anfügen. Früher wurde beim Scannen jedes Mal ein neuer Fax angelegt. 5. Einige Programmfunktionen wurden optimiert. 6. Jetzt können die Textdateien im TTS-Modus in Szenarien der
Fernverwaltung wiedergegeben werden. In der Business-Version: 1. In Handlungen nach dem Empfang wurde eine neue Handlung hinzugefügt: “Benachrichtigung an eine andere Nummer schicken”. Es ermöglicht separate Verschickung der Nachrichten über den Eingang der Mitteilungen an eine andere Telefonnummer. 2. In Handlungen nach dem Empfang wurde eine neue Handlung hinzugefügt: “Benachrichtigung an die Absendernummer schicken”. Es ermöglicht Benachrichtigung über eingegangene Nachrichten an die Absendernummer für diese Nachricht, die über Caller ID festgestellt wurde. 30. Oktober 2008: VentaFax 6.1 wurde veröffentlicht Neue Funktionen: Für alle Versionen: 1. Deutsche Interface-Datei ist jetzt in das Installationspaket miteinbezogen. 2. Das Interface von dem «Assistenten der Nachrichtenvorbereitung» und vom «Übertragungsfenster» verbessert. 3. Jetzt sinddie separate Numerierung von eingehenden Fax- und Voicenachrichten möglich. 4. Jetzt können einige Felder bei dem Caller ID verworfen werden. 5. Jetzt kann benutzerdefinierte Voicedatai angegeben werden, die das Geräusch für die Hold-Funktion nachmacht, sowie ist die Wiederholungszahl einstellbar. Die Phrase wird in die Leitung im Speakerphone-Modus beim Betätigen der Taste "Micro ausschalten" widergeben. In der Business-Version: 1. Jetzt können Sie den Transferbeleg über die erfolgreiche Transaktion selber einstellen. 2. Wenn Sie den Dienst der Anrufunterscheidung (distinctive ring) verwenden, so können Sie jetzt in den Handlungsfiltern nach dem Anrufempfang den Anruftyp (ring pattern) angeben, für welchen die angegebene Handlung gilt. A new feature allows you to start recording your conversation automatically right after the connection has been established when dialing a number without sending a message. 5. A new parameter allows you to interrupt an answering machine greeting by receiving the "*" tone. 6. A new parameter enables you to generate the "*" tone command
before sending a fax or a voice message. Many answering machines (and
now the new version of VentaFax as well) interrupt the answering machine

If the document's filename contains two # characters, the characters between them are interpreted as the receiving fax phone number. To establish a V.34 fax connection, both receiving and transmitting side must support this mode. In the Home version, notifications are sent of every message received. In the Business version various filtering criteria can be used and different notification rules can be set. file already attached. February 14, 2002. VentaFax 5.0 Released New in Version 5.0 as Compared to Previous Version (v.4.43) User Interface The first thing that will strike a user of VentaFax v.4.xx is a significant
change in the Main Application window design. First, the fax machine
image has been upgraded. Besides a contemporary look, it now contains
an answering machine control panel. Second, in addition to the conventional
button toolbar, the text menu and application tree were added to a left
part of the main window. Not only it provides fast access to any application
included in the package, but also allows selecting files for loading
in those applications, for example, a recipient phone book. By the way, you can change the Main Application window appearance by
means of the skin mechanism provided. The other VentaFax applications' control elements have been upgraded
in a similar way. 32-bit Version This is the first true 32-bit VentaFax version. In particular, in means
that the program cannot run under MS Windows 3.1 and 3.11, as well as
in Win16 window of OS/2 platforms. Also, we made no efforts to provide
compatibility with Win32S extension for 16-bit Windows versions. The
program has been tested under Windows 95 (OSR2), 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000
and XP platforms. Apart from conventional advantages like the use of "long"
file and folder names, transition to 32-bit version provides faster
operation of serial ports drivers, which was critical in the previous
versions. For example, the use of some modems voice functions with 16-bit
port drivers under Windows NT and Windows 2000 limited the sound playback
quality. 32-bit Windows Telephony API Now the program can be configured in such a way that modem would be
accessed as a device described in Windows configuration instead of direct
serial port access (although the latter option is still available).
In particular, this means that the program, when in auto-answer mode,
would not occupy the modem port. Thus, the modem would remain accessible
to other applications. The other effect of using TAPI is an opportunity to avoid duplication
between general Windows settings and VentaFax settings. Specifically,
VentaFax now uses "telephony location" (actually, the user's
country code and area code) stored in Windows settings, including current
dialing type settings (tone or pulse) and calling cards information. New Application - the VentaFax Script Editor The new application is a specialized text editor that provides a convenient environment for development of VentaFax DTMF-signals remote control scripts.
